Having a bed in your Mercedes Sprinter Van is the key componet to your Sprinter Conversion. The bed is what allows for you to skip the highways and opt-into the trails It's the reason you can go to the snow for a last minute ski trip. Beds are more complicated than one would originally think. Since this is the key componet to your conversion it's important to game plan how your going to configure the back of your van. More often then not, people go for the full size bed but clear underneath for storage. This means you'll need reliable attachment points on the walls. A great option for East- West sleeping is the MOAB platform which provides one of the lightest and strongest van bed systems out there, providing the flexibility of different height and width mounting options inside your van with three individual telescoping panels. The Flatline bed connects directly to the wall with a robust support structure and forgoes the in-wall mounting like the MOAB. The Vanwife bed is bar far the most modular and most flexible. The Vanwife bed is a versatile furniture system for your van that can create numerous configurations, including a platform bed, two bunks, couch, desk, or table. The entire system can be hung on the wall vertically to open the entire back of the van. Van Land does sell power lift builds but incorporating them into your build can be rather difficult.
