Kendra the Vet Tech (LVT) in the first of a 3 part series of going over clinical math basics. This isn't the last time we will see clinical math, but this series will go over the basics needed to understand setting up dimensional analysis, where the figures come from and what they mean. In this episode, we start with some basic definitions: dose, dosage and concentration (strength). After we learn some terminology around math, we move into refreshers about math with fractions. It's important to remember that whole numbers represented as a fraction are the number over 1. Also, remembering from basic math, how to multiple & divide within fractions. Then, move on to implementing the fraction rules in a couple of examples.
