Kendra the Vet Tech (LVT) is back with a 2nd installment of our clinical math basics. Now that we understand the definitions, how to build a dimensional analysis equation and work through it, let's move on to some example work! Check out some real drug labels to learn how to find the concentration of a drug. Then, work through some math problems that apply to the real life drug labels that we look at. Also, take a look at an error that could easily be made by not paying close attention to the concentration of your drugs. Some drugs come in multiple concentrations, to prevent a severe overdose situation, observing the "Rule of 3" is very important.
