Hello everyone, today I'm gonna show you my opinion according to the video in the exercise listen and respond 1. I have 3 questions there to discuss: Now, let’s begin to the first question: 1. What impacts (positive and negative) might international artists have on local culture and local artists? From my point of view, international artists have many impacts on local culture and local artists. For example, Local artists learn new things from international concerts, like new ways to produce music, new concert technology, and high-quality sound systems used by other artists. Moreover, Big shows bring more people to concerts. This can also help local artists gain more attention, attracting more fans and ultimately supporting the local music scene. Even though the possibility, it also brings a lot of negative such as Local artists may find it difficult to compete with very famous global stars. Furthermore, people might spend too much time and money on foreign music, then forget about local music and traditional art. The government should invest in infrastructure, helping build and improve big venues and technical capacity. This makes Vietnam ready for big global tours. Promote Vietnam's image according to the global events by showing the world how beautiful Vietnam is, and encourage music tourism Get to the last question: “How can Vietnam balance between promoting global art and preserving its own traditional art forms?”. My personal view is that Vietnam needs a good plan to keep its traditions safe while growing the global industry, such as mixing traditional Vietnamese art with modern global music. Besides, they should organize festivals and shows that only celebrate Vietnamese traditional arts to make sure they are respected and remembered.
