We introduce the Laplace transform - the main tool we will be using in this course. The Laplace transform will be used to turn (difficult) ODEs and IDEs into (simple) algebraic equations. Note: there's a typo at 27:38; I wrote exp(-sτ)exp(as), but it should be exp(-sτ)exp(aτ).
