Vizrt 4 Lat-Long Plugin Tutorial

How to use the Vizrt 4 Lat-Long plugin. The Vizrt 4 Lat-Long Plugin will allow you to control the latitude and longitude of the particle system. To use this plugin you will first need to have the RFX Smoke particle generator in your scene. If you’re not familiar with the RFX Smoke plugin, you can watch the separate video on that plugin. Once you have the particle system you can then drag the Real FX Lat-Long plugin onto the container. The Vizrt 4 Lat-Long plugin is found in the Built-Ins window, the Container Plugins, under the Real FX folder. To enter the properties of the Lat-Long plugin, click on the icon on the container. Some of the settings within the Lat-Long plugin include: Radius will set the radius of the latitude of the particles. Increasing the number will spread the particles apart, increasing the width of the whole particle system. Decreasing the number will container the particle system into a smaller area. Spawn Max Longitude and Spawn Min Latitude will adjust the max level of the spawn point or beginning point on both longitude and latitude. Orientation will let you select between horizontal and radial. The video will explain the rest of the settings found within the plugin.
