Vizrt 4 Spline Strip Plugin Tutorial
The Vizrt 4 Spline Strip can be both a two and three dimensional geometry that allows you to make line, circle or rectangle loft extrusions. The Vizrt 4 Spline Strip geometry is found in the Built-Ins window, the Geometry Plugins (GP) tabe and default window. Once you drag the Spline Strip into the scene tree you won’t see anything in the scene editor window. You will only begin to see the geometry once you start adjusting the settings in the Spline Strip properties window. Some of the settings in the Spline Strip editor include: Path Node Index: Defines where the path noded gets added, moved or deleted. The first node is set to 0 and you can add nodes by increasing the index by numerical values of 1. X will set the node on the X axis. Y will set the node on the Y axis. Z will set the node on the Z axis. TC wil set the nodes TC position Add Node will add the node at the current Path Node Index value and the X, Y and Z value. Move Node will move the current Path Node to the set X, Y and Z value. Remove Node removes a path node at the current set Path Node and X, Y and Z values. Interactive Mode will allow you to use the mouse to edit the node path once the path is built. Node Size will set the size of the interactive node’s size. Path Steps will define Spline Strip tesselation. Path Start will set the starting point of the path. Path Length will define the length of your spline strip geometry. You can keyframe this variable to create an animation. Surface Offset Shifts Path on the Y axis. Shape Width will set the width of the spline strip
