Vizrt Control Hide In Range Plugin tutorial
How to use the Vizrt Control Hide In Range plugin. The Vizrt Hide in Range function allows you to set this function on containers and hide them if they fall into a certain numerical range. This video fully explains how to utilize this function in Vizrt Artist and Vizrt Trio. You can drop this function onto any container that you want to hide in yours scene. This tutorial explains by setting up a scene with multiple primitives a sub-containers of a main group. Once inside the Hide in Range editor you'll notice two options similar to all the other control functions, the field identifier and the description. The input value is the option that the graphics operator will actually see once the scene is imported into Vizrt Trio. There is also an upper range setting and a lower range setting that can be used to set a maximum and minimum value range for the operator. Once the scene is in Viz Trio you'll notice the input value that you changed within the function in Vizrt Artist. The Trio operator will be able to enter the correct number(s) to hide or show the primitive or object in the scene. Though there are other ways to accomplish hiding or showing a container this one is useful if you need a range.
