Volume Extract in SpaceClaim
In this tutorial, I will show you how to extract the fluid volume from a solid geometry imported from CAD software like SolidWorks. You can then use this fluid geometry in meshing tools such as Fluent Meshing and perform CFD simulations in Ansys Fluent.

To extract the volume, go to:
Prepare tab → Volume Extract
There are different methods:
First method: Select faces → Select seed face → Complete (demonstrated in the Manifold example).
Second method: Select edges → Complete (shown in the Cyclone model).
