The International Week of Deaf People and International Day of Sign Languages are two significant events that are dedicated to raising awareness about the D/deaf community. To help communicate with the D/deaf community, CMH uses the VOYCE service that provides access to medical interpreters in over 200 languages including American Sign Language. Para, a CMH patient and deaf individual connected with Patient Experience to share her hospital visit story and challenges.
