Vriksham: Dancing with Trees In this project I focus on trees as collaborators, as moving living presences that interact with our moving bodies. Some of the questions that lead this project are: - What happens when we engage with trees as living beings with a unique identity and personal history? How can we relate to trees as dance partners? - How can we rise ecological awareness and nurture cosmic empathy by cultivating deep embodied listening in our relationships with trees? - How can we use processes of devotion and ritual to rescue trees from the passive role of landscape, to return to being divine presences in the sustainability of life?
