Warp-1 is a very rare first-person shooter arcade game released in 1979 by Sun Electronics (licensed by Taito).
Players control a crosshair to shoot incoming objects in a first-person perspective. It features a unique, simple starfield effect that simulates moving through space.
It is often cited as a predecessor to later Taito space shooters. While it was released in late 1979 in Japan, some databases list it as a 1980 release due to when it appeared in advertisements. For decades, it was considered a "lost" game until its ROMs were dumped and added to MAME.
