These patterns of connectivity also differed from those of children without ADHD, meaning that it could serve as a biomarker. Although the study labeled the three biotypes inattentive, hyperactive/impulse, and severe/emotional dysregulation, there was very poor correlation with our current subtypes of ADHD (combined, inattentive and hyperactive/impulsive).
