Sometimes known as Corby weir this is a gauging weir that was built recently in 1996 without a fish pass. Only the stronger swimming species such as salmon and trout will be able to get over it. There was a campaign to get rid of it in 2022 which was unsuccessful. Hopefully it will be gone soon. There is an eel pass on the far bank.
