What is a Wireframe?

In this video, I will be showing you what a wireframe is. A wireframe is a conceptual design of a product’s appearance. More so of a blueprint of a product. This helps with the development process and really helps get an understanding of what a product can look like for the end client. In this case, the professional can get validation based on design. Keep in mind, wireframes are a draft so it does not have to be fancy looking. It only needs to be simple in the beginning, and the quality of the wireframe will evolve over time to present a near-accurate representation of the product. Wireframes are usually created by the design team, but it can also be created by other team members as well. Everyone has a different level of design competency. So ideally it is best for the design to work on their intended purpose. Before getting into creating a wireframe or any form of design there needs to be an understanding of the business and product’s goal. An outline of how this is going to work along with information architecture. There are different levels of fidelity for wireframes which are low, medium, and high. These determine the levels of quality of how it will appear.
