“Where Omar At?” is my love letter to DC Go-Go music. I love how it's always about something not Earth-shattering. It could be about Mickey dancing or Keisha having a "big ol' butt." I could listen for hours. #RareEssence is my all time favorite. I've seen them in concert multiple times. For he uninitiated "Lock it" and "Work the Walls" are the most commercial radio hits. For this video, I leaned all the way in: sleepy puppies. My channel’s gonna stay like that too—fun, personal, and all over the musical map on purpose. Some days it’s DMV go-go percussion and crowd-bounce energy. Other days it’s pop, rap, or a psychedelic 70s-style guitar solo that drifts off into space.
