White Flag Fest Hackathon Day 2
How can we start creating a new world together? The White Flag Hackathon is in full progress at Korzo. For four days, six interdisciplinary artists come together to explore one urgent and radical question: For which world do we raise the flag of peace, equality, and connection? 🏳️ Guided by Marc Maris, the artists are deep inside this physical hackathon, working toward a new, temporary reality to be developed in just four days. Using The White Flag Manifesto, Paul Raekstad’s Prefigurative Politics (Building Tomorrow Today), a single piece of white fabric, and dream images and audio recordings collected from the audience, their process continues to unfold. Along the way, they draw inspiration from artist and Black Futurist Richard Kofi and sound artists Strijbos & Van Rijswijk. This aftermovie captures Day 2, where the process intensifies. João Brito and Claire Hermans share the questions, thoughts, experiments, and developments emerging from the second day. What we witness is not a fixed outcome, but an evolving practice, searching, testing, and imagining new ways of being together. Expect no ready-made solutions, but a shared attempt to imagine and embody a world shaped by connection, equality, and imagination. At a time when peace feels further away than ever, when tensions rise, differences sharpen, and what was soft hardens, we choose not to look away. Instead, we come together to practise peace. Together, we begin to embody a hopeful version of tomorrow, here and now. 🎥 @PixelStreamMedianl
