White Flag Fest Hackathon Day 1

How can we start creating a new world together? The White Flag Hackathon has begun. For four days, six interdisciplinary artists are brought together at Korzo to explore one urgent and radical question: For which world do we raise the flag of peace, equality, and connection? 🏳️ In this physical hackathon, guided by Marc Maris, the artists are challenged to develop and present a new, temporary reality in just four days. They work with The White Flag Manifesto, the book Prefigurative Politics (Building Tomorrow Today) by Paul Raekstad, a single piece of white fabric, and dream images and audio recordings collected from the audience. Along the way, they are inspired by artist and Black Futurist Richard Kofi and sound artists Strijbos & Van Rijswijk. This aftermovie captures Day 1, with reflections from NÉNÉ (Naomi Streefkerk) and Yoko Haveman. What emerges is not a finished answer, but an unfolding process, an immersive and sensory exploration.
