You Have a Choice | PSA

(Watch in HD! Ze quality SUCKEZ imo) Well, hello ya'll! (yes, I say ya'll now, my friends have ruined me) Let me just start off by saying I hate the new youtube and uploading this felt weird and I barely even remembered how to upload a video. Cry tears. [I uploaded this because I wanted you to know I'm STILL ALIVE!!!!1 (any family guy fans here? no? STILL ALIVE!)] It's been a long time! College (or university to a lot of you folks) has been crazy. Everything in my life has been flipped upside down (in the best way possible!) and vidding has taken the backseat. I'm still on course to study film and editing, but I think most people can agree the social aspects of college/university are endless and I have a huge fear of missing out, so I tend to forget about vidding quite a bit. It's still my number one interest, but I still need to improve at setting aside time for it. I don't want to talk too much more about this just because I'm sure a lot of people can understand. We had to make a PSA that could be audio, print, video, etc. and of course, I chose video. We had to address an issue that arose in the book The Hope of the Unseen, and while lots of people chose things like bullying and abuse, I went for a more abstract topic. The book is about a boy named Cedric, who goes to essentially the worst possible high school in DC. He wants nothing more than to get out and attend Harvard University, but no one believes he can do it. What I focused on was the idea that never quitting, even against all odds, is a choice. And that you CAN be successful if you put your all into everything you do. I'm going to try really hard from now on to keep up with youtube and start editing videos again. I can't promise anything, but I just wanted people to know I'm still alive.
