You
You are, what you eat And you eat what you are. And you spent all the bread that I've spread from my heart You are a sinner, a loser no one bears to see. Your walk is robotic and you can not find your means. A man without a purpose, a purpose without creed A creed without temptation, temptation is your sin. A sinner to be eaten by the bigger plumper fish You are an empty rotten, little puppet on a string. And what is a soul if not the accumulated experiences that we have? And what is love if not the answer to the riddle that is us? And what is life if not the breath taken at birth? And what is lust if not the unrecognizable conditions that we've got? You are a nation, an unavoidable participation of creation You are lonely, you are a broken shell. You are something to be seen from a distance Pestilence is spreading from your knees. You are the one You don't know how lonely you really are. In a room and it's already filled Staying at the counter and you pour another drink You're a mindless iteration of the past experiences that you've got You are a wishful thinking of something that you're not. Bright and tenebrous Are the thoughts surrounding you And slothful is the wind That blows upon your ship So don't move the anchor It's time to stay still Maybe the bait is defective And the sharks awaiting Will be riddled by the guilt.
