Backing Track
It is late morning when the crew is finally prepared to step foot and explore their surroundings. They plan to cross the meadow of low vegetative lifeforms and explore the woodland in the south where a stand of very large tree-like has clustered itself around a low rocky glen. But before they are half way there they have their first encounter with animals. These are a flock of flying, glistening bat-like creatures and that glide in from the east and begin circling. Slowly the circling becomes aggressive as they swoop close to the explorers. It is impossible to discern if the creatures are just curious or a menace. So it is quickly decided to run for the rocks and trees in hopes that there will be shelter.
