Daybreak on an alien world after the storm. A vast forested landscape broken by the open field in which the landing was made. As the sun rises, an astounding variety of life forms built of faceted crystalline structures are orienting themselves to the sun. The "plants" had fed on the electrical discharges from the storm during the night and are now glowing from within.
