This video shows how to calibrate the abrasive minimum level sensor, on the ABRA Sandmaster Pro. Proper calibration is important so the machine correctly detects when the pot is out of abrasive and stops or refills when it should. Process overview: Before adjusting the sensor, confirm whether there is abrasive in the pressure pot, because the calibration method is the same but the indicator light behavior is different. If the indicator light is off, it means the pot is empty. If the light is on, it means the pot has abrasive. Use a small flathead screwdriver and turn the adjustment screw slowly. With abrasive in the pot, turn the screw clockwise until the light turns on, then back it off and repeat the on/off point two to three times to confirm a consistent reading. If the light flickers, fine tune the adjustment until the light stays steady. If the pot is empty, adjust in the opposite direction so the light turns off, then verify the on/off point the same way. Once the light matches the actual pot condition, leave the setting in place. Safety: Keep hands clear of moving parts while the machine is powered on, and use Emergency Stop if needed. Tools: Small flathead screwdriver (precision size).
