Backbends are great for the spine, it helps keep the the spine flexible and healthy. Also doing these backbend exercise in the morning will produce energy throughout the body. Join Naomi Finklestein (Instagram @practic_radical_self_love) for a backbend exercise sequence. She'll guide you through three sets of poses. If you do it on your own, please do it in this order to warm up your back muscles properly. 1. Cobra Pose (tip: first use your back muscles to lift yourself up to activate your back muscle memory) 2. Locust Pose (tip: if you can't rest your chin on the floor, use blanket to rest your chin) 3.
