You know those lemonade scones? Well, this is the beer version! Beer is greater than lemonade (duh), so obviously these are better. Well, maybe not actually quantifiably better, but they weren't too bad in my opinion.
Recipe:
2 cups of self raising flower
1/4 cup of castor sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of thickened cream
1/2 cup of beer
Saltanas
Mix it all up, roll it into little balls and cook it for 12-15 mins at 200°C (400f)
So tell me, is this ground-breaking cooksperimentation or am I just an idiot?
