Cast Blasting Head Replacement
This video shows how to remove and replace the blasting head on the ABRA Autoblaster CNC. Replace the head if it is worn, damaged, leaking, or if you need to swap components during service. Process overview: Use a 10 mm socket to loosen the dust collector hose clamp and remove the hose. Remove the nozzle and set it aside. Loosen the laser by removing the set screw on the bottom, then remove the laser to access the head. Use channel locks to loosen the lock nut, remove the lock nut, and take the blasting head off. Install the new head, thread the lock nut on by hand until snug, then use channel locks to tighten while holding the head in position. Reinstall the laser and snug the lock nut on the bottom. Reinstall the nozzle and adjust the set screw as needed. Reattach the dust collector hose and tighten the clamp with the 10 mm socket. Safety: Power off the machine before removing the dust collector hose, nozzle, laser, or blasting head. Tools: 10 mm socket, channel locks.Support and parts: If you have questions about setup, operation, upgrades, or replacement parts for your ABRA CNC Autoblaster, contact the Rayzist CNC Support team and we’ll help you get it sorted quickly.
