Customize your Open World | Indie Game Devlog #1

So, after 10 years in Unity, doing a ton of doodleing between real game development I was inspired last year to make an indie pirate / adventure game set in a tropical setting, where, aside from all the adventure, you can create your own experience by utilizing an unique personalization / difficulty system to shape the world and how it behaves around you. Customize your Open World | Indie Game Devlog #1 With Base Building, which is inspired by games like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing New Horizon or ACNH, or Merchantry inspired by Sailwind. And if that is not your style, experience an indie adventure with the dream of Skyrim and take a look at the story, which will let you explore this small open world with enough simulated physics to let you sandbox around. Sounds like a lot to do in programming, low poly art, sounds, music and so on and that's why I'm making these videos. //media The Music consists of (in order of appearance) Blacksmith, Seven Seas, Heartbeat, Adventure, Village Ambiance, USSR, Dragonquest and Wellerman all made by Alexander Nakarada (www.serpentsoundstudios.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Stockfootage is taken from https://pixabay.com/ #devlog #gamedev #rpg
