DCP'S Sweet & Sour Garlic Shortribs Ingredients • 2 lb of Pork Side Ribs • 8 cloves of minced Garlic • 3 tbsp of Soy Sauce • 3 tbsp of Rice Vinegar or Vinegar • 3 tbsp of Sugar • 2 tbsp of Ketchup • 2 tbsp of Cooking Wine • 2 cups of Water Preperation 1. Cut the pork side ribs into cubes by following the bones. Cook the pork in boiling water for 3-4 minutes and set aside. 2. Mix dark soy sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, rice vinegar, Chinese cooking wine, and sugar until sugar is dissolved. 3. Turn the heat up to medium-high and drizzle oil into a pan. Once the oil is hot, add in pork and sauté for 3-4 minutes. 4. Add in garlic and saute together for another 1-2 minutes. 5. Drizzle in the sauce and mix for 1-2 minutes until pork is covered in sauce and pour in 2 cups of water. Bring it to a simmer and turn the heat to medium-low. Simmer for 30 minutes. 6. After 30 minutes, turn the heat up to high and cook uncovered for 3-4 minutes.
