FOR BARBARA

Last April 2022 the wife of my best friend in college passed away. Her name was and is Barbara Nudell Aletkin. At the time I wanted to do something special for her family to commemorate and memorialize her life; something that might in some small way soothe the tremendous loss they were feeling. I had written a song earlier that year and decided to use it to make a “special” video memorial for her family; a way to celebrate and remember the beauty, and bravery, and grace… of someone who touched so many. Initially, I only made it available for the family and friends, but several months ago, I mentioned to my friend Steve of possibly putting it on my Youtube Channel as a last tribute for Barbra and he thought it a good idea. I’m only sorry that it has taken me this long to get around to it. For those who never knew her, for those who will always love her, and for all for those whose lives were forever blessed by her presence— This is “For Barbra”.
