I think in a world obsessed with youth and beauty, there are a lot of women who are made to feel less than pretty, less than adequate, maybe even less than loved, simply because of their age, or their appearance or for whatever ….and frankly I think some of the harshest critics of women are women themselves.
When I set out to remake Pretty Lady (a song I wrote some time ago) I wanted the video to be different, something unique, an intimate look at the ageless, timeless beauty of all women, a “celebration” even.
I am eternally grateful for all the stunning ladies who participated in creating this video and I can’t say thank you enough. You may even see a few ladies that you recognize.
So for all the people who watch this video—For all the ladies who need a moment to be appreciated and loved—Listen to the music. Turn it up. Dance like no one is watching… and share it whenever you can.
And I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed creating it for you.
