Pete decides to get into FPGA "programming" with a Spartan 7 Elbert S7 Board. In this video he overviews the board, the documentation. Shows how he loaded the development environments (Vivado and Vitis) and then worked through the development of a simple NAND gate - the aim being to show each development stage and demonstrate many of the tools like schematic generation, simulation, timing analysis and much more.
