Up next on ASPECT we are joined by one of our favourite up and coming local DJ’s - fuchsia. fuchsia is a DJ, radio host and tastemaker who has been making waves in her hometown of Eora/Sydney - bringing a fresh style that bridges the worlds of bass music, dubstep, techno, trance and more. With a love for all things deep, weird and wobbly, fuchsia brings her genre bending selections to this edition of ASPECT - melding the psychedelic, dubbed out and spooky rhythms that she is renowned for. Her eclectic and chameleon like taste has had her support the likes of Ben UFO, Woody92, DJ sweet6teen, Suki, Jay Carder and more over the last few years. She also brings her curations and selections to Area 3000 radio, where her show ‘lucidity’ focuses on music influenced by the textural sounds of the landscapes around us, and hosts guests from Eora as well as around the world. Some words from fuchsia about the mix:“I'm really enjoying the 140 range of rolling techno, bass and dubstep at the moment, it feels very natural and easy to get lost in. Particularly anything with something a little bit weird or wiggly in it - I feel very drawn to.
