Monako is a DJ, Producer and co-founder of local label Big Ting Recordings, who has been making waves for over decade with his signature style of fun & bass heavy dance music. Known for his exciting blend of UK and worldly music, outlandish remixes and thick basslines, Monako knows how to get a party started. He is a member of Sydney/Eora party collective Dayshift, as well as throwing countless “Rivet” parties under the Big Ting Recordings flag, which are both huge cornerstones of the local underground scene outside of the confines of the cities restrictive nightlife. It’s a pleasure to welcome Monako as our first guest on ASPECT. Here’s some words he had to say about his mix: “For this set I wanted to dive into my usual style of fun bass-driven club music, whilst putting a particular focus on local Australian artists and friends who are doing really great innovative things right now.
