We are very excited to finally welcome Command D to the studio for the latest episode of ASPECT! He is a tastemaker in his own right, bringing to the zeitgeist a new appreciation for dub techno, crisped out percussion and a minimal groove aesthetic that many try to copy, but few manage to replicate. With releases on local labels Pure Space and Body Promise, as well as a slew of self released gems in his bag, Command D has managed to refine a sound that shines beyond his years. We know the word ‘deep’ gets thrown around a lot, especially when describing anything with a sub bass focus, but Command D has found a niche in which he truly embodies a sense of depth. With carefully plotted elements and subtle soundscape trips throughout all of his releases, he is without question a wizard of his craft. Anyone lucky enough to catch one of his live sets will know what we are on about; his DJ sets are no exception to the rule here too.
