GONE FROM SIGHT [4K]

I want to thank everyone for stopping by and watching my videos! This is a very special song and video for me. I wrote it for my mom that passed away in 1996. I wrote it for her about a year after she passed and it was very painful for me to record and sing so it just hung around my studio for over 20 years on a cassette tape so I wouldn't forget it. Then during the pandemic around 2021, I recorded all the instruments but I still couldn't sing it without breaking down, take after take, so I shelved it again. I finally was able to sing it earlier this year and then make a video for it after that. There was a bit of an issue with the instrumental track where I made a mistake after the first chorus, so I tried to hide it with a bunch of noises, crying, and different sounds and visuals, you can't miss it! I just couldn't go back and re-record all of those tracks and vocals, the song is too difficult and painful for me. So it is what it is! Please forgive me!🙏 I loved my mom very much and she died from colon cancer at 66, way, way, too young! I really regret not spending more time with her and telling her how much I loved her, (I'm tearing up as I write this! How lame is that!) but the lyrics express how I feel. On this Mother's Day, everybody please hug your moms and tell them how much you love them because when they're Gone From Sight, they're gone for good! I made the video and downloaded it in 4K, as I will all my videos from this point forward. I don't see much of difference but it sure does takes a lot of memory and time to download them! I'm a bit of a bumbler on the computer so please forgive. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all of you moms out there and please rest assured that you are loved by your kids no matter what the situation!
