He Turns Upside Down Right-Side Up
Getting to the story about Moses, Pastor Burleson recaps from the last chapter in the book of Genesis, and reads from Exodus 1 into Exodus 2:10, reminding us of the history and the life of Joseph and his significance to Egypt, to his family, and to God. Years passed, a new King arose in Egypt "which knew not Joseph" (Exodus 1:8). In other words, the new King did not know the history of how the Israelites came about to Egypt, and more so, he did not know the role of Joseph to his predecessor. Pastor Burleson urges us to "remember" where we come from. He weaves the basket of Moses back to the ark: connecting Moses to Joseph to Noah (Exodus 1 through 2:10; Genesis 37-50; and Genesis 6:5-8, respectively). He shows us afteryears in modern years. He shows us man's destructiveness and indignity to human life and God's Word to show us "The Way" out of Gehenna (Hell). Pastor Burleson pleads that "you don't have to understand everything--just believe!" He also encourages us that "God can turn your upside down, right-side up. He's done it before and he'll do it for you!" Listen to the message of God, herein.
