In addition to the eccentric RDL for mobility, you can perform the single-leg version which increases the stretch on the abductors. Commonly called a single leg RDL or an arabesque focusing on the eccentric component will increase hip flexion & hip adduction mobility. Eccentric training is a powerful method of increasing strength and muscle length which is valuable in your attempts to provide injury resilience to your client’s.
