Hats off to the master machinist that built this fine engine. It only required minimal work to complete.
I’ve had to make the base, finish off the plumbing for the cooling, make a fuel tank, throttle linkages, fit an oil pressure gauge, make the exhaust trumpets, finish off the distributor, make a few adjustments to the carburetor and build an ignition system.
Unfortunately atm it is not running as good as it looks. I’ve got about 20 minutes running time on it now and it has started to push oil out of the exhausts.
Oil has been changed several times in the first 20 minutes, oil pressure has been adjusted somewhat lower than initial startup. Now at 10 psi.
I’m now contemplating my next move, I’ll run it a bit more but I may dismantle to investigate.
