Jason tribute

Jason of Iolcus, Captain of the Argo and leader of the Argonauts. Great-grandson of Hermes through his mother’s side. Estranged husband of Medea. Jason is one of the few Greek heroes who’s purey mortal, not including that his great-grandfather is Hermes. Jason is a complicated hero because while he did suceed in retrieving the Golden Fleece, he also broke his vow to Medea. But to be fair, Medea was already a nutcase even before they broke up. I mean, the woman murdered her brother and chopped him into pieces to serve as distraction from her father’s army. But in the end, Jason lost everything and he didn’t even die a heroic death. He died underneath the the mast of the Argo. Not the best way to die for a man who sought to be a great hero. I chose the song “In the End” by Linkin Park because in the end, he lost everything.
