Junro Sandan
This kata is the 3rd kata from the Junro Katas which are part of the JKS syllabus. The Junro katas were introduced to the syllabus by the late Sensei Asai who wanted to develop lesser used techniques, stances and spinning techniques.
This particular kata demonstrates a wide variation of different strikes that you wouldn’t normally see in a kata. Strikes from different angles and positions whilst also using hip rotation or spinning techniques are some of the key features in this kata.
