See Luke 20:41-47 [verse] How do they say that Jesus Christ is just the Son of Man? Only the Davidic descendant, as revealed in God’s plan? Ain’t it funny that King David was inspired in his songs To call the Son of Man the ‘Son of God,’ as He was Yahweh all along? [chorus] “The Lord said unto my Lord, “Sit you down at my right hand” “I’ll set Your feet on enemies, against You they’ll never stand” Now, how can David call Him ‘Lord,’ if Christ is just a man? What other patriarch has spoken thus of his own earthly clan? [verse] While everyone is listening, and eavesdrop as we talk I warn you of the scholars, as by their evil hearts they walk They dress up to be recognized as shepherds of the flock Extort their income from the old, and, with long prayers, they mock [chorus] The Lord says unto you lords, “Sit down in a lower seat” “Don’t long to be called ‘Reverend,’ out in public, when they greet Deny yourselves, at church and meals, to by lengthy prayer entreat Return extortions to the poor… then, with you I will meet!
