LOCK DOWN CHALLENGE—DAY3: Kettlebility invites you to join our Lock Down Challenge! Each day we will present an exercise or movement pattern that you can perform at home. They can be performed loaded (kettlebell, dumbbell, bottle of water) or with just bodyweight. The important thing will be to explore the movement, and get all your repetitions completed by the end of your day 👍 DAY3 is all about the BUTT, and by that we mean SQUATS! Scientific studies have shown that the simple bodyweight squat can activate MORE of your wonderful glutes than any OTHER exercise. So, today is all about the buttocks via the bodyweight squat! Perform 10 reps at a time, for a total of 100 for the day. 10 sounds like too many? We recommend 10, but any rep range works, from 1-10, just get the total amount in for the day :) The important thing is for you to do YOUR version of your BEST squat. Use a chair for added balance and support, use a wedge under your heels to achieve greater depth, use the door handles for added leverage and assistance, and really work on squeezing your glutes on the top of EACH repetition -- crack that walnut!
