French Angora Rabbit livin' his best life! (yes, I tied up that string right after I stopped filming, it was dangerous) I got Macaron in the fall of 2019 for $8 at a livestock auction, labeled "blue steel French Angora male, will get BIG," which was all very true... and he flirted with the girls (bunny, cat, or human) until he passed away from an inoperable fast-growing vascular tumor in 2025. He was a delightful Big Bunny, and a total joy to have in my life. He especially loved hopping around the fenced yard when the weather was nice. His hobbies included flirting by peeing on things, marking his territory (which included me), cuddling with Miss Grey, and racing around the yard between munching on dandelion snacks. He hated the blower, but did not mind the clippers, and would throw the scissors off the grooming table because scissors are a tool of the devil! (so says Macaron). The rest of the footage I have of him is his very cute backside as he munches hay, so you get 4 minutes of racing around instead of 12 of a fluffy bunny butt. From a spinner's perspective, I did not enjoy his fluff. He leaned wiry, and no matter how much I groomed him he matted up before we got the length for spinning.
