Make it Stop

Make it Stop I got my first migraine when I was 8. It felt like 6 straight hours of a red hot poker to the eyes. I eventually got used to them, but it’s not like they ever felt much better. Over the years I’d average out to about one a week, sometimes in clusters, sometimes with the trippy visual aura, always at the worst times. In my 30’s I found a medication that really helped, and regained hours and days of my life back. I feel like I was lucky in that, I know lots of folks who still haven’t found anything that really works. Keep fighting the good fight, guys… Took an unexpected summer off from migraines this year, which was weird, but I won’t complain. Then managed to get one again last week, well, bout time to post this song then I guess… So this is an ode to the migraine people out there, and all the crazy things we do to try to make it stop.
