“Homemade comfort, made with what I already had at home. 🌿 This tortilla casserole is simple, cozy, and perfect for nights when you just want something warm and filling without spending a lot. Welcome to our little TikTok‑and‑Instagram family. 🙏 If this is your first time here, I’m someone who cooks with what I have and shares it because I know how it feels to stretch a small kitchen. I’m so glad you’re here — let’s cook, share, and encourage each other along the way. 💛 If you try this, let me know how it turns out in the comments or DMs. I’d love to hear from you.” Ingredients: * 1 can cream of mushroom soup * 1 to 2 cups cooked jasmine white or brown rice * 4 to 6 tortillas, cut or torn into pieces * Water, as needed * Salt, pepper, and any seasonings you like * Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or Italian seasoning Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 2. Lightly grease a baking dish if needed. 3. Warm the cream of mushroom soup with a little water until it is smooth and creamy. 4. Stir in the cooked rice. 5. Layer torn tortillas in the dish, then spoon some of the rice and soup mixture over them. 6. Repeat with another layer if you have enough ingredients. 7. Add a little more soup on top if needed so it stays moist. 8. Cover with foil and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, until hot and bubbly. 9. Remove the foil for the last few minutes if you want the top a little drier. 10. Season to taste and serve warm. “This is one of those simple pantry meals that makes the most of what was already in the kitchen. You can keep it soft and cozy or bake it a little longer for a firmer casserole.” Hashtags: #tomshomemadekitchen #southerncoupleskitchen#tortillacasserole #creamofmushroom #pantrymeal #budgetcooking
