Minerva is a small historic village in Stark and Carroll Counties, Ohio. Founded in 1818 by John Whitacre as a mill town, historically known for the Sandy and Beaver Canal and the Lincoln Highway. Minerva historic village is such a charming area. I had a short visit here five years ago and found myself in this area for the holidays, so I decided to film it because the area had a such a Hallmark movie vibe, all decorated for the holidays. There are some great restaurants in downtown Minerva that are worth trying like Sandy Spring Brewing Co. and Que Pasa Mexican restaurant are two of my favorites. You won't go wrong with eating at either one of these. If you're in the area check them out. I hope everyone has a Safe and Healthy New Year!
