Much Lately

Wake up feelin’ like I’m not in my skin Same face mirror but it don’t feel him Ghost in my chest, let the cold air in Smoke curl slow while it hide my sins Walk through days like a blur on repeat Heartbeat low but it skip on beat Voices fade when they try to reach I been here but I’m out my reach I been here but I’m out my reach Hands go numb when I light that flame Watch it burn but I feel the same Ash fall down like it know my name Every night just a different shade I ain’t feel myself much lately Smoke in my lungs goin’ hazy Ghost in my head still sayin’ “You ain’t been the same, you ain’t been the same” I ain’t feel myself much lately Eyes too low, movin’ wavy Fade in the dark, don’t save me I ain’t been the same, I ain’t been the same Late night drive with the windows cracked Let the cold air hit, try to bring me back But the road go long and I’m off that track Every turn I take lead me into black Silhouette when I pass that glass Don’t recognize what I’m lookin’ at Ghost stay close, yeah it move too fast Every breath I take never seem to last
