🐴 OLIVIA WORKOUT REPORT - 5/16

First out at 5:00 AM this morning and our girl Olivia did NOT disappoint! 💪 Ryan Hanson had her out for an easy maintenance 4-furlong work on the Santa Anita main track, and she stopped the clock at 49:40 — ranking 39 out of 61 workers on the day. And here's the thing — that was with rider Adrian deliberately holding her BACK behind another horse and finishing with a slow gallop out. She wasn't even asked to run and she still ranked 3rd. That engine is very much running! 🔥 Ryan was pleased and noted she moved really smoothly — even better than her work last week. The bar shoe continues to do its job beautifully with no signs of discomfort, and the weekday vet has been consistently happy. Race day vet clearance remains the final step — and Ryan will be assessing her post-work condition to map out race options for NEXT WEEK. 🎯 Adrian summed it up perfectly — he went easy and she wanted to do MORE. Worth noting he felt the track was running heavier than the official fast condition suggested, making that 49:40 under restraint even more impressive than it looks on paper. And then came the best part of the morning... 🍪 Olivia cooled down beautifully, got a lovely post-work bath, and then assumed her now-legendary position — standing in the ice bath with those man-size ankles getting the full spa treatment. And in true Olivia fashion, she stood there cool as a cucumber and proceeded to absolutely DEMOLISH an entire bag of cookies. Every. Single. One.
