OpenFOAM simulation - Flame spread in a car 🔥

Large Eddy Simulation (LES) of flame spread in a car with OpenFOAM 2.2.x and the FireFOAM solver. The vehicle geometry is simplified and a small fire source is placed below the engine in the front part of the car. The video presents the heat release rate per unit volume (HRRPUV) contour at 200 kW/m3 and the temperature on a plane across the center of the car.
