My first visit to PG Gending and its 2ft gauge railway was in August 2014. Field trains were no longer in operation but with four locos, each a different model, in use there was plenty to interest.
The day's highlights included the bagged sugar train and the street running section between the truck and mill yards. Nothing seemed to happen very fast but there was always something going on.
I understand the street running section is no longer in use but the railway may still be working within the confines of the mill compound.
